Origin/meaning:
The arms were adopted on September 9, 1998.
The symbolism of these rather complex and non-heraldic arms is the following :
The flame is the symbol of human life and commercial productions. The activity of the industrial enterprises gives life to region.
The church is the symbol of spirit, goods, justice, peace and eternal lasting values.
The barrel is the symbol of fun and human desires.
The bridge is a connecting element. It's linking Kamjanobrod with Luhansk. The spear is the instrument of a transactions and the weapon of Cossacs who founded the city.
The letter "?" is taken from the arms of the city of Luhansk and Katerynoslav province. The eight stars are the eight territories of neighbourhood committees.
The colours are state colours of Ukraine.
