Heraldica Española - Spanish Civic Heraldry

ULLDEMOLINS

Province : Tarragona

Origin/meaning:
Canting arms: they show traditionally a millstone ("roda de molí" in Catalan) with an eye ("ull") inside. The colours, gold with the black top, are taken from the arms of the Entença family, to which barony the village of Ulldemolins belonged. These arms have been officially granted on 12th July 1988.
