TORRES DE SEGRE
Province : Lleida
Origin/meaning:
The arms are canting, and show traditionally two towers ("torres" in Catalan), that symbolize too the old castle, and the river Segre. The cross at the base explains that the town was the centre of a Templar command since 1289, later Hospitaller in 1317. These arms have been officially granted on 25th October 1985.
