Heraldica Española - Spanish Civic Heraldry

SANT LLORENÇ SAVALL

Province : Barcelona

Origin/meaning:
The grill and the palms are the attributes of the martyr St. Lawrence, the local patron saint. The two roses are a traditional sign, and probably are an allusion to the name Savall (from Catalan "sa vall", the valley). These arms have been officially granted on 11th July 1990.
