Origin/meaning:
The pigeon ("colom" in Catalan) is a canting sign, and symbolizes St. Columba, the local patron saint. The colours, Or and Azure, are taken from the arms of the barons of Cervelló, lords of the village. These arms have been officially granted on 11th April 1989.
