SANT BOI DE LLOBREGAT

Province : Barcelona

Origin/meaning:
The bell is the traditional sign of the town, and it's no linked to any particular historical event; it's said that it symbolizes the bell that called the neighbours to gather and meet. The baron's crown reminds the barony of Sant Boi, created in 1523 by Antoni de Cardona. These arms have been officially granted on 13th December 1985.
