Origin/meaning:
The two feathers are the attribute of St. Augustine, the local patron saint, that was a famous writer of sermons, commentaries about the Scripture... a real master of rhetoric. The colours of the arms, Or and Gules, are taken from the arms of the barons of Lluçà, the lords of the village. These arms have been officially granted on 9th August 2000.
