PRULLANS
Province : Lleida
Origin/meaning:
The arms show three stones, as an attribute of St. Stephen, the local patron saint; four wavy bars, an allusion to the rivers and creeks that flow through this Pyrenean municipality; and a patty cross Gules on Or, the traditional sign in the arms of this village. The castle of Prullans became in 1309 the centre of a barony, and this is shown by the baron's crown at the top. These arms have been officially granted on 28th October 1998.
