LJUTOMER

Origin/meaning:
The above arms wer officially on March 28, 1997, but the design is much older. The composition probably dats from medieval times, but th eoldest known seal with the arms dates from 1648. Ever since the composition has remained the same, although in the 19th century the dragon was often seen standing in a river. The unicorn and the dragon indicate the victory of good over evil. The meaning of the three balls is not known.
