BREZICE

Origin/meaning:
The arms were officially adopted on September 9, 1991.

The original arms were granted on March 29, 1535 by King Ferdinand I. The arms are described as a bse of water, from which rises a green three-topped hill, all on a black shield with a golden point. The grant also described that the arms are confirmed, indicating that they were already used previously.

Widimsky shows a totally different design, namely three ladders instead of the point and a red field instead of black, see below.
