Russian Civic Heraldry SOLIKAMSK Origin/meaning: The arms were granted on July 17, 1783 (below) and again in ?. The arms show in the upper half the arms of the Perm province. The lower half shows a salt well. Soliamsk was the largest producer of salt and magnesium in Russia. Solikamsk means the Kama salts. The previous arms Literature : Speransov, 1974; Soboleva, 1998
