PODOLSK (Подольск)

Province (Oblast): Moscow

Origin/meaning:
The left arms weregranted in 1781, the middle arms were adopted in 1976. The main difference being the fact that St. George is facing right in the new arms. The right arms is used as present with a smaller part for the Moscow province arms.

The two crossed axes on Podolsk heraldic mean the tools for improving railways. As Podolsk was one of the main road - railway points on Moscow South destination it carried out the responsibility of taking care of roads and railways.
