KOWALEWO POMORSKIE

(Schönsee)

Origin/meaning:
The arms are based on a 14th century seal of the local governor from the Krzyzacki family, which also showed a fish. The stars and crescent are most likely religious symbols.

Until recently the town used the arms in different colours :
