MIASTKO (Rummelsburg)
 Origin/meaning:
The wavy bar is likely derived from the arms of the Massow dynasty. Rummelsburg was first mentioned in 1506 as a possession of the Massow family. The arms of the family are two wavy bars. The oldest known seal of the city dates from the 16th century and shows a letter M and two wavy bars. Another 16th century seal also shows the M, but with a single bar.
In the 18th century the city used the Prussian eagle in its seals, only in the 19th century the above arms appear.
