LUBAN
(Lauban)![]() ![]() Origin/meaning:
According to legend, the arms were granted on December 17, 1541 by Emperor Ferdinand. There is no existing proof thereof, but it was mentioned in a description of the city from 1719. The arms show a city wall and between the towers the complete arms of the Dukes of Furstenberg, in the 16th century rulers of the city. Literature : Hupp, O : Königreich Preussen.
