Civic Heraldry of Georgia

Origin/meaning : The cross with two hands over on the crescent symbolizes the union of Russia and Georgia (Christian nations) to overcome Ottomans and Persia; The Black Cross over the Red Lions carries same meaning because Lion was state symbol of Persia.
