Civic Heraldry of Macedonia ARAČINOVO (Арачиново) Origin/meaning : The tower in the arms represents the town itself and its old history. The red and black colours are taken from the Albanian national arms, as the town is mainly populated by Albanians. The points represent the wings of the Albanian eagle. The previous arms, developed in the 1990s, but replaced in 2007, are more like a logo showing the prosperity (flower), peace (pigeons and olive branch), sports (football), traditions (belt) and the stars for future.
