HAMBLETONAdditions : 1974 Northallerton, the Rural Districts of Bedale, Easingwold, Northallerton and Thirsk, and parts of Croft and Stokesley Rural Districts .
The crest has a wild boar astride three hills standing among oak trees. This represents Galtres Forest. The boar supports a Yorkshire rose. The dexter supporter is a local breed of horse. This suggests horse racing, as well as the White Horse carved into the hillside at Kilburn. The sinister supporter is a ram for agriculture.
