Wappen von Weetzen

Origin/meaning:
IThe arms were officially granted on August 15, 1962.

The two keys are taken from the arms of the diocese of Minden as well as the Wennigsen Convent, to which the area historically belonged. The harrow symbolises the agricultural character of the village.
