Wappen von Stedefreund

Origin/meaning:
The arms were officially granted in 1939.

The bend is taken from the arms of the medieval Steding family, after which the local estate and village is named. The star and the other symbol, a Keulenwinkelkreuz (a solar-symbol) are used ofen on farmhouses in the region.
