District (Kreis) : Stuttgart
Incorporated into : 1942 Stuttgart

Origin/meaning:
The arms were devised in 1930 and show a canting trunk (Stamm) under a horse shoe. The meaning or origin of the latter is not known; it may have been a symbol for agriculture or for luck. The colours were officially determined in 1934.
