SCHWICHTENBERG

State : Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
District (Kreis) : Mecklenburg-Strelitz

Origin/meaning:
The arms were granted on December 22, 1998.
Historically the area belonged to the city of Friedland, and the city wall is taken from the arms of Friedland. The oak tree symbolises the forests in the region, whereas the mountain (Berg) in the base is a canting element.
