State : Rheinland-Pfalz
Origin/meaning: The arms combine the lion of Nassau and the cross of the State of Trier with a golden chalice of St. Goar. The village belonged approximately 450 years to the State of Trier until 1802. From 1802-1866 it was part of Nassau.
