Origin/meaning: The upper half shows the lion, derived from the arms of the Counts of Schwarzberg, who ruled the area for many centuries. The lower half shows some miner's tools, symbol for the copper mining in the area; and a wheel for the fact that historically village was known for its coach drivers.
