State : Bayern ![]() Origin/meaning: The upper half of the arms show the arms of the State and Archdiocese of Bamberg, to which the village historically belonged. The base shows a harrow, as a symbol for the agricultural character of the region. The two stars are symbols for St. Mary, the patron saint of the village. Literature : Stadler, 1990.
