Origin/meaning: The bull's head is a symbol both for Mecklenburg as for the former Estate of Parchim, which became part of Mecklenburg in 1471. The two blue corners symbolise the Schweriner See and Plauer See lakes. Literature : Linder and Olzog, 1996.
