KLEINOSTHEIM

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Aschaffenburg

Origin/meaning:
The arms of Kleinostheim were granted on June 5, 1975.

Kleinostheim is situated in the Spessart region, which is characterised by oak forests. This is symbolised with the oak tree. The wavy foote rof the arms symbolises the Main river. Kleinostheim is an old settlement, and the plough iron symbolises the long history as an agricultural village for more than 20 centuries. The wheel and the colours are taken from the arms of the State of Mainz, to which the area belonged from medieval times until 1803.
