KAARST
State : Nordrhein-Westfalen ![]() ![]() Origin/meaning: The cross in the arms is again the cross of Köln, which was part of the old arms of both Kaarst and Büttgen. The lower right part of the arms show the arms of the Van Werth family, who played an important role in the local history (see also Büttgen).
