State : Bayern ![]() Origin/meaning: The upper right field shows the three rings of the arms of the Julius-hostital in Würzburg. The hospital owned the village of Platz and granted the town rights in 1802. The fish is taken from the arms of the Lords von der Tann, who ruled the villages for a long time and aloowed freedom of religion in their lands, which has resulted in the fact that the villages are Lutheran in an otherwise catholic region.
