BAD ENDBACH
(until 1973 Endbach)
State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Marburg-Biedenkopf (until 1973 Biedenkopf)
Additions :
1971 Wommelshausen; 1972 Günterod; 1974 Bottenhorn, Dernbach, Hartenrod (1971 Schlierbach), Hülshof
Origin/meaning:
The arms were granted on August 24, 1956.
As there were no historical seals or arms known, the arms were newly designed in 1955. The town is an important regional spa, which is symbolised by the sun (fresh and healthy air and sun) and the watering can (the baths). The wavy bend is canting, Bach meaning stream or river.
