District (Kreis) : Siegen-Wittgenstein (until 1974 Siegen)

Incorporated into : 1969 Kreuztal

Origin/meaning:
The arms of Eichen were granted on May 27, 1939.

The upper part shows a horn, the symbol of the Amt Ferndorf, to which the municipality belonged. The lower half shows an acorn as a canting symbol (Eichen=oaks)
