DUCHEROW
State : Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
Origin/meaning: The red griffin in the arms is the symbol of Vorpommern, the area to which the village belongs. The red diamond is taken from the arms of the Counts of Schwerin, who for many centuries owned the Ducherow Estate. The base shows a small mountain, which is a symbol for the village of Heidberg in the municipality.
