BÜSSLINGEN
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Konstanz
Incorporated into : 1970s Tengen

Origin/meaning:
The arms were adopted in March, 1903.
The village did not use any arms or seal prior to the middle of the 19th century, when a seal with the name of the village was introduced. The arms were proposed by the State Archives in 1902 and combine the lion of the arms of the late medieval Lords of Büsslingen with the small shield of the Teutonic Order. The village historically belonged to the Mainau chapter of the Order.
