BUCH
State : Bayern ![]() Origin/meaning: In 1835 the town applied for arms with two fleur-de-lis (lilies) instead of the castle. These were taken from the arms of the Fugger family, who owned the town for some time. As supporters the Bavarian lion and as a crest a laurel branch were used. These arms were not granted for unknown reasons. Literature : Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes; Hupp, O: Kaffee Hag albums, 1920s |
