BOKHOLT-HANREDDER
State : Schleswig-Holstein ![]() Origin/meaning: The arms symbolise the four settlements in the municipality; Nokholt, Hanredder, Vossloch and Offenau. The fox (Voss in the local dialect) is a canting symbol for Vossloch, a popular tourist spot. The blue bend is the Offenau river. The two beechleaves symbolise the two other villages. Bokholt means beech-wood and the -redder part of Hanredder means a small road surrounded by trees (like a hollow way). Literature : Reissmann, 1997
