Origin/meaning:
The arms were granted on February 16, 1982.

The arms are a combination of the arms of the former municipalities. The fountain is taken from the old arms of Bad Bocklet (I have no image of those); the small shield with the rooster is taken from the arms of Aschach. The other small shield is taken from the arms of Steinach an der Saale.
