State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Lippe (1972-1992 Detmold, until 1972 Lemgo)
Incorporated into : 1969 Barntrup

Origin/meaning:
The arms were granted on July 9, 1958.

The upper part shows the rose of Lippe, the meaning of the lower part I don't know.

Hupp showed different arms in the 1920s, based on the old seals of the city:
