BENÁTKY nad JIZEROU
Origin/meaning:
The arms show a castle, symbol of the city itself, standing on the banks of the Jizera river. The two small shields with the grape branches are the arms of the Lords of Drazice, first owners of Benatky city. The base shows a shield with a basilisk, its origin or meaning is not known.
