Croatian Civic Heraldry KRAPINA-ZAGORJE COUNTY Origin/meaning: The arms were adopted in 1999 and show a battled wall, a simplified version of the full castle shown in the previous arms. I have no information on the meaning of the stars. The arms below were adopte d in 1995 and used until 1999. The arms are identical to those of the city of Krapina, but crowned with the coat of arms of the Republic of Croatia, under an heraldic mantle. The daisies (ivancica in Croatian) in the base of the mantle are canting for the Ivancica Hill dominating the County.
