ZENICA-DOBOJ Canton

Coat of arms of Zenica-Doboj Canton

Origin/meaning:
The arms were adopted on June 21, 2000.

The arms show a Royal crown, based on the ancient crown of the Kotromanic dynasty, medieval Kings of Bosnia. I have no information on the meaning of the stars.

The previous arms were adopted in 1997.

These arms also showed the crown, but with some other symbols, of which I have no origin or meaning.
