Origin/meaning:
The above arms were used by the Serb administration of the community. The arms are based on the red-blue-white Serb flag, made so that it makes the geographical map of Brcko region, where blue is representing the confluence of the river Brka into the Sava. The river port function of Brcko is represented by an anchor, combined with the four S's of the Serbian coat of arms.
After the international administration took over after the Dayton Agreement in 1995 the use of this coat of arms was (to be) stopped.
