Belgische Gemeentewapens - Armories communales de Belgique Belgian Civic Heraldry SINT LAMBRECHTS WOLUWE - WOLUWE SAINT LAMBERT Province : Brussel/Bruxelles Origin/meaning : The arms were granted on February 10, 1936. The complete arms show St. Lambert as a supporter behind the shield. The H.Lambertus is the local patron saint, and on the 16-17th century seals he is shown holding the arms of the local Lords. In the above arms the shield is the arms of the Hinnisdaal family, Lords of Sint Lambrechts Woluwe in the 17th century. The village then formed the capital of the County Hinnisdaal, that existed for around 40 years. Literature : Servais, 1955
