The complete arms show St. Peter as a supporter behind the shield, holding a key in the left and a book in the right hand.

Origin/meaning :

The arms were granted on June 7, 1932.
The arms show the lion of Limburg, the estate of Sougné historically belonged to the Duchy of Limburg. St. Peter is the patron saint of the town.
