ROTSELAAR

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on January 25, 1973.
The arms are derived from the arms of the Rotselaar family and the oldest known use is by Gerard van Rotselaar, on a seal dating from 1272. The seals of the council of Rotselaar are known since the 14th century and have always shown three fleur-de-lis.

The arms are also used by Haacht, which was another possession of the family.
