Origin/meaning :

The arms were granted on March 23, 1925, and he complete arms show St. Peter as a supporter.
The arms are derived from the 18th century seals of the local council. Older seals already showed a shield held by the local patron saint, St. Peter. The shield showed the arms of the Maillen family, Lords of Hamoir. When the estate became a possession of the Donnéa family, the arms were replaced by the lion of this family. The composition of the seal was made the arms of the village in 1925.
