BRAINE-LE-CHÂTEAU

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on July 21, 1923.
The arms are based on a 16th century seal of the town, which shoed the arms of Martin van Horn(e), Lord of Braine-le-Château. The first and fourth quarter show the arms of the County of Horn, the meaning of the other quarters I don't know.
