Province : Luxembourg

Additions : 1976 Bellevaux, Corbion, Dohan, Les Hayons, Noirefontaine, Poupehan, Rochehaut, Sensenruth, Ucimont, Vivy

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on November 18, 1818 and confirmed in 1841.
The arms are those of the ancient medieval Duchy of Bouillon. The arms derived from the arms of Lower-Lorraine or Lotier, one of the two Duchies created in the 10th century from the large Duchy of Lorraine. Duke Godfried/Godefroid of Bouillon was the last Duke of Lotier in the 13th century. The city has always used the arms of the former duchy.
