Civic Heraldry of Namibia

NAMAS

Arms: Per chevron, Vert and Or, in chief a pale couped fitchy at the foot, conjoined, also Or, in base a sheaf of nine arrows with heads to chief Sable, bound Vert.
Crest: In front of a sheaf of nine arrows with heads upwards Or and shafts Sable, a quiver tree proper.
Wreath and mantling: Or and Vert.
Motto: Unitas In Individuo (Unity in individuality)

These Arms were registered under the South African Heraldry Act (1962) in under Certificate Number 2107 dated 20 October 1989. These Arms were abolished on the independence of Namibia in 1990.

Origin/meaning :
I have no information on the meaning and origin of these arms.
