Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on July 8, 2008.
The arms are base don a seal granted by Empress Maria Theresia in 1769 and show the Jezus, the Apostles and Mary in Heaven.

The bottom shows the Begej river that flows through the town, with the big bridge, designed in the 19th century by Eiffel.
