The two images above are both used by the local council.

The left arms show the arms of the 15th century Heer van Brugge, Lord of La Gruthuse and owner of the village of Zoteux. The origin of the right arms is not clear, it has been stated to be the arms of the Courteville de Hodique family, who also for some time ruled the village.
